What the day will look like

As a Junior Cyber Broker, some of your key responsibilities and the impact you will have include:

  • Contributing to Aon's ability to deliver market-leading cyber broking and advisory services to a greater number of clients globally.
  • Opportunity to help some of the largest global (re)insurers, leading and start-up cyber insurance companies make better decisions, and work on innovative transactions that address the societal need to increase capital deployed for systemic cyber risk
  • Technical and administrative support for the Account Executive team in placing and servicing Treaty Reinsurance

  • Processing of placements and liaising with offshore teams to ensure invoices are prepared and issued on time
  • Generation and review of contractual documentation (including contract wordings, endorsements, invoices, and evidence of cover)
  • Resolution of queries received from clients and reinsurers - liaising with colleagues within other departments and local offices as necessary
  • Collection and analysis of data necessary for the preparation of market submissions and presentations
  • Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Compan

  • Technical (re)insurance knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Experience of working in a client-facing environment
  • Great communication skills
  • Data analysis abilities
  • Good level of IT competency (Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel and Word)
  • Ability to work in an environment where deadlines must be adhered to
  • Accomplished client acumen, presentation and content creation skills
  • Ability to innovate
