Qualifications and Knowledge
Educated to Degree level or equivalent, in a discipline such as operational research, mathematics, computer science, social science, data science or similar discipline. Experience
Experience of communicating complex information to a non-technical audience. Experience of performing complex analytical tasks, with minimum guidance. Understanding of improvement methodology - specifically data and measurement including statistical process control. Knowledge of social research methods such as survey design and evaluation. Skills and Attributes
Advanced IT skills with experience of using Microsoft Office applications - and particularly advanced MS Excel knowledge. Knowledge of programming (e.g. Visual Basic, Python, R) or database query (e.g. SQL) languages. Flexible to meet the needs of the service and able to multi-task. Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise own workload. Must be proactive. Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team. Inquisitive, motivated and reliable. Commitment to self-development, actively seeking feedback and learning. Willingness and ability to travel between sites in Wales. Developing visualisation utilising business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qliksense or R Shiny.
