The Role: Junior Designer We are looking for a motivated Junior Designer to support the design and development of new restaurant openings. Working closely with the design team, project managers, and contractors, you will play a vital role in delivering brand-consistent, visually appealing, and functional environments for our fast-paced fit-out projects. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills while contributing to the creation of exceptional restaurant spaces. Key Responsibilities: Design Development:

Assist in conceptualizing and developing store designs that align with brand aesthetics and functionality. Create design drawings, 3D models, and presentations to communicate ideas to stakeholders. Support the preparation of design packages, including floor plans, elevations, materials, and finishes.

Project Management Support:

Coordinate design timelines with the Lead Designer and Project Manager, ensuring fast-track schedules are met. Participate in site visits to monitor progress and help resolve design-related challenges during the fit-out phase. Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure materials and finishes meet design and quality standards.

Fit-Out & Installation:

Review shop drawings with the design team to ensure accuracy and adherence to design intent. Assist in coordinating the installation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). Help troubleshoot on-site challenges to ensure timely project completion.

Design Standards & Innovation:

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, materials, and innovations relevant to restaurant design. Contribute to maintaining design standards and propose improvements for future projects.

About You: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in commercial or retail interior design, preferably in hospitality or food service. Familiarity with fast-track fit-out projects is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software. Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and FF&E specifications. Ability to produce detailed drawings and design documents. Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects. A team player with excellent communication skills. Other: Willingness to travel for site visits and project meetings as needed. Passion for restaurant design, trends, and customer experience. What’s in it for you?
