Madisons Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Junior Electrical Estimator to join our client's well-established team in Epsom, Surrey.
Duties:
Accurately reviewing project plans and ensuring all electrical requirements are correctly captured in estimates.
Using your hands-on site and tools experience to understand practical aspects of projects and then provide estimations.
Working closely with the Project Managers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Helping the team meet project deadlines with the preparation of estimates.
Learning and developing your estimating skills including the use of software tools.
Keeping accurate records and contributing to the maintenance of cost databases and documentation.
Requirements:
Site/tools experience in electrical works essential.
Previous experience in estimating electrical projects is preferred.
Experience with estimating software is desired but not essential; full training will be provided.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.
Ability to build strong working relationships.
Computer literate.
Good attention to detail.
