We are recruiting a Junior Engineer to join a globally recognised automotive company based in Cranfield. This is a long-term contract role, with the potential to last for several years.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with the support of your senior engineer and the wider team to develop parts to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. Problem solving concerns for build and test failures (digital and physical). Managing supplier and in-house parts. Working with the styling team to provide feedback during the digital development phase. Regular trips to visit the manufacturing site in Sunderland. Supplier visits across Europe and occasionally Japan, depending on project, schedule, and capability. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Product/Industrial Design or equivalent. Familiarity with CAD Software, for example, Siemens NX. Some experience in a professional engineering design role or automotive industry would be an advantage.
