Our client is seeking a Geologist, Engineering Geologist, or Geotechnical Technician on a permanent basis in the early new year.
This very established company is involved mainly in Geotechnical and Environmental investigations in connection with residential and commercial developments. They also specialize in the remediation of former quarry sites.
Most of their projects are in the surrounding counties of Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, and Hertfordshire; they rarely work in London within the M25 except with some of their long-term clients.
Ideally, our client would consider a recent graduate with at least one year's experience, although they would consider suitable candidates with more experience.
Salaries depend on qualifications and experience and include a vehicle allowance of £275 per month, project-related mileage expenses at £0.45/mile subject to HMRC requirements, and pension contributions.
The post is full-time office and site-based. There is no remote working.
