Overview of the role This role will give you the opportunity to provide 1st/2nd line support for PayPoint’s Desktop Infrastructure and deliver a responsive and effective first-time resolution support service for staff issues and requests.

We are happy to speak to college leavers/graduates, or those looking for an excellent opportunity to kick start their IT support career.

A junior EUC Engineer will ensure that incidents and requests are logged, progressed effectively within a given time period, and manage/complete scheduled tasks on time. The ideal person will need to be comfortable with installations, support and maintenance of Microsoft Windows, and Mac devices, including tablets, laptops, and AV Equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery of 1st/2nd line IT support to internal users. Respond to incidents and tickets raised via the customer ticket logging system. Provide support for all IT systems and applications. Take ownership of queries/problems and investigate to resolution. Engage with 3rd party support to assist with incident resolution. Ensure the effective assignment and escalation of incidents are highlighted to the correct teams to resolve. Ensure effective Hardware/Software asset management processes are followed/maintained via asset management software. Be involved in planning and replacement of legacy equipment. Create and maintain technical documentation. Recommend and implement workarounds for known errors whilst working towards long-term fixes that prevent the reoccurrence of issues. Adhere to ITIL framework processes where applicable. What we would like from you… Some Experience or knowledge in: Microsoft Windows 10/11 Microsoft Office Products Understanding of PC architecture

Attributes: Ability to prioritise own workload and work independently Ability to work in a busy office environment Deal with constantly changing work priorities Ability to communicate in an effective, clear and calm manner Enthusiasm to learn and develop new technologies

Desirable but not essential: 6 months or more experience in a Helpdesk Environment Windows Active Directory PC Imaging PC maintenance skills and troubleshooting hardware
