The Position Job Summary As a Junior Exploration Geologist, your main responsibility will be to process drill core samples being produced from our hard-rock lithium deposit near Roche in Cornwall. The more common activities include, but are not limited to:
Drill core marking, photography, sampling, logging, core cutting
Transportation of samples
The role will involve manual handling and heavy lifting (the core trays can weigh up to 30kg which will be carried with another person).
Assisting with field based works where required.
Attention to H&S
Participating in daily pre-starts, weekly toolbox, and other periodic safety meetings
Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions
