About the Role
Riverside Leisure Centre is Chelmsford City Council’s flagship leisure facility, offering a variety of sporting activities where there is something for everyone. We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Facilities Engineer. Responsibilities
Responding to maintenance-related emergencies and general repairs. Conducting facility checks. Assisting the Facilities Manager and Maintenance team. Acting as Duty Engineer during reactive maintenance issues. Qualifications
Applicants must have experience in maintaining mechanical and/or electrical equipment along with basic handyperson skills and knowledge. Previous experience dealing with building faults is essential. A related qualification or apprenticeship would be an advantage. Working Hours
The successful applicant will work 37 hours per week on a rota basis, covering weekdays, weekends, evenings, and some late nights. Flexibility is a must. Safeguarding Commitment
