Junior Finance Analyst
to support the Financial Analysis team, with an initial focus on supporting the Procurement Team and potentially other areas of the business in due course. Reporting into the Finance Business Partner, they will provide support and analysis on costs and provide a foundation for forward planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Own weekly financial reporting process, including ownership of live cost of fruit/yield analysis
Own Procurement dashboard and undertake monthly variance analysis
Manage the Balanced Scorecard to relay information throughout the business, with the aim to further develop through Power BI
Support monthly and quarterly commercial reporting
Own 3 month & full year cost of materials forecasts
Assist with recommended cost increases
Key role for budgets, reforecasts and Year-end activities (owning the materials budget)
Support cross-functional reporting and projects
Support and deliver cross-functional training (Excel)
Ad-hoc projects/analysis
Who We Are Looking For:
Minimum 2:1 Degree in an Accounting / Finance or Business-related subject Note: unfortunately this position is not eligible for Student Visa holders
Relevant experience within a similar role (desirable)
Foundation level CIMA, ACA or equivalent or a desire to study towards a professional accountancy qualification (desirable)
High attention to detail and analytical skills. Accustomed to, and enjoys, working with, interpreting and presenting data
IT skills: Proficient with Word, Outlook & Excel, with use of advance formula desired (xlookups, sumifs, Pivot tables, etc.) Experience of Power BI also desirable
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and articulately with key stakeholders across all functions
Experience in Manufacturing or a Finance role would be highly desirable

Days and Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 17:00pm
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Location: Prepworld, Northfleet, DA11 8HH. Mix of office and home working (full time in office initially, then minimum 2 days in office). Due to the location of the site, having your own transport is useful. Very rare travel to BerryWorld head office (Turnford, Hertfordshire) may be required (1-2 times a year)
