We are partnering with a global fund which is looking to bring a Junior Operations and Finance Analyst into their London office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across multi asset classes and focus on sustainable investments from a finance and operations perspective. This broad position will provide exposure to transaction data management, fund finance, fund management and ad-hoc duties such as valuations within an impressive firm, with a positive and collaborative workplace environment.
What the job involves
Ensure that all transactions are booked in the internal system in an accurate and timely manner Update valuation of the underlying investments in a timely and accurate manner Assist with preparation of annual accounts for investing entities Assist with the review of statutory accounts prepared by external counterparty Support cash management function - ensure that liquidity is available where/when it is needed Stay up to date with the private equity team’s activities and funding requirements via interdepartmental meetings
Who we are looking for
Operations/accounting experience An accounting or finance degree from a top university Very strong attention to detail Good analytical skills and understanding of financial markets and instruments Well organised, disciplined approach to work, with a positive problem-solving attitude Strong verbal and written communication skills, given the significant degree of both internal and external interaction Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and some investment administration software
