The Role
As a Part Qualified Accountant you will play a pivotal role in supporting our finance team through tasks such as year-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, analysis, and project collaboration. This position is well-suited for a candidate who is looking to embark on a rewarding career in finance in a fast-paced, high-volume, process-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the year-end statutory accounts production across multiple regions.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to maintain precise financial records.
Assist in the annual audit processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Assist in the monthly financial reporting process and analysis.
Collaborate with the finance team to address ad-hoc queries and provide valuable insights.
Minimum Requirements
Proficient in Excel, with an attitude to improve efficiency and learn advanced functionalities.
At least 2-3 years of practical accounts production experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA / ACA, or equivalent).
Desirable Experience
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice background desirable but not essential.
