About The Role We are looking for a Junior Garment Technologist to join us on our woven and jersey department. Our Garment Technology team partner closely with the design and buying departments to assure the fit and quality of our product along with its technical capabilities from first sample through to delivery. Our team assess our supply base for its social and ethical sustainability and monitor new and existing suppliers’ compliance to our standards of make and delivery. The Junior Garment Technologist will focus on assisting the technical team by evaluating fit and attending weekly fit sessions throughout the department, from initial prototype to pre-production. Key accountabilities include: Ensuring all technical packs are updated and complete whilst keeping suppliers up to date with our technical standards and procedures. Conducting monthly store visits and competitor research on the department ensuring commercial awareness of key trends and competitors in our space. Assist the Senior Technical Manager on risk assessments as well as wearer trials to ensure product is fit for purpose and standards are consistent. Assist the Technical team in driving the TFG sustainable strategy to ensure our sustainable certification paper trails are maintained and submitted to our Wholesale/Concession partners when required. About You As the Junior Garment Technologist, you will need to demonstrate knowledge of garment construction and basic pattern cutting, as well as the ability to participate in fit sessions with guidance from the Technical team. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role. Experience with jersey and wovens is required. What's in it for you?
