What the job involves
You will assume a pivotal role in screening, assessment, and execution of investment transactions. You will foster relationships with founders and senior management teams of start-ups to ensure a steady flow of investment opportunities. You will conduct thorough due diligence to formulate robust investment hypotheses. You will act as a representative of the firm at industry gatherings and conferences, cultivating partnerships and enhancing visibility within the sector. You will provide post-investment support to portfolio companies and actively contribute to their growth and success.
Who we are looking for
Scientific academic background is essential. Highly commercial with some relevant work experience and a passion for early stage businesses. Full-time experience in venture capital is essential. A natural networker with an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset. High level of flexibility and sense of responsibility. Open to spending two days a week in the Sheffield office.
