Responsibilities As a Junior IT Security Engineer, you will be conducting regular vulnerability and penetration tests for internal and client systems, planning and implementing information security measures, and analyzing and managing security incidents. Support and enhance strategic security initiatives, assist with audits and certifications (e.g., ISO 27001), and collaborate closely with IT, data center, and software teams to ensure robust information security.
Qualifications Strong knowledge of servers, networks, and IT infrastructure. Familiar with data protection and security standards (GDPR, ISO 2700x, BSI IT-Grundschutz). Proficient in German (C1) and English. Relevant degree e.g. Information Security, Computer Science, etc.
