Location: Gloucester (4 days a week onsite)
Our client is looking for a
Junior IT Support Engineer
to help keep their business running smoothly by providing first-line support across their IT systems. Key Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests. Diagnose and resolve issues with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and networking. Manage hardware provisioning and maintain IT equipment. Create and update user documentation. Travel to various sites when required (pool vehicle provided). Escalate issues to third-party providers when necessary. Essential Skills: Eager to learn and develop new IT skills. Organised, motivated, and able to work independently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Patient and approachable when working with users of varying technical abilities. Full UK driving licence. Desirable Skills: Experience with help desk applications. Knowledge of M365 administration, Windows & Mobile OS troubleshooting. Basic networking and cloud services knowledge. IT certifications (eg, CompTIA A+).
