Job Purpose: This role is perfect for a recent IT graduate or someone with a few years of experience looking to deepen their knowledge and skills in IT support. This will involve troubleshooting problems with PCs, software, networking, hardware installation and configuration, MS365, and more. As a junior member of the team, you will have the chance to develop your skills in these areas and potentially explore a technical specialism in the future. What We're Looking For: Basic experience in IT support roles, with a focus on delivering high-quality remote support. Familiarity with remote control software and an approachable manner for supporting both tech-savvy and less tech-literate users. Confidence in logging and resolving technical issues, with a willingness to research and learn new solutions. Ideally, 1-2 years of relevant experience in IT support. Strong customer service skills, with an emphasis on clear, non-technical communication. Ability to manage and prioritize technical support tickets effectively. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Provide basic support and training to end-users on IT systems. Assist in installing and configuring software and hardware. Monitor system performance and contribute to security measures. Help in maintaining IT records and implementing new systems. Manage IT assets and inventory. Collaborate with the team to improve processes and documentation. A foundational understanding of Cloud Technologies (e.g., Azure) is a plus. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Willingness to learn and grow in areas like Active Directory, scripting, and network infrastructure. Additional Skills (Nice to Have, But Not Essential): Experience with virtualized environments. Basic knowledge of data protection and backup methodologies. Understanding of security products and firewalls is beneficial.
