Marlowe Environmental Services are recruiting for a sandwich student who is looking to undertake their placement in a busy chemistry based laboratory.
What will you be doing?
Quality control testing of chemical products
Chemical analysis and reporting
Troubleshooting and investigating issues in the field or in chemical products
Project work
Lab administration including report writing
Calibration of lab equipment
Prioritise and reprioritise a dynamic workload on a daily basis
Requirements
Undertaking a degree in Chemistry (or degree with high chemistry content)
Health and Safety awareness.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
Willing to relocate to Daventry for duration of the placement, or can commute to Daventry Monday-Friday for the duration of the placement.
