Job Description

This is a great opportunity to join Eurofins Water Hygiene Testing within our state of the art Chemistry laboratory in Belfast. Please note this is a one year fixed term contract, working full time hours of Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. Sample Preparation & Analysis, preparing standards and reagents according to established protocols. Perform sample preparation and conduct chemical analysis using a variety of techniques, apparatus, and instrumentation. Accurately enter data into the laboratory database, ensuring consistency and reliability. Support the maintenance of records and documentation required for UKAS/ISO 17025 accreditation. Maintain precise record-keeping in line with the UKAS quality system requirements. Record and manage sample details upon receipt at the laboratory. Ensure all records meet the requirements for UKAS/ISO 17025 accreditation. Assist with general laboratory housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Participate in any additional duties as required to support laboratory operations and compliance. Undertake any other tasks or duties assigned by the Technical Manager or Team Leader to support laboratory functions. Qualifications

Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Water Chemistry, or a closely related field. Basic practical laboratory skills. Understanding of fundamental chemistry principles and analytical techniques. Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and under pressure. Desirable: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards. Familiarity with water chemistry analysis. Knowledge of the 5S methodology for workplace organization. Benefits
