Verso is retained to add strength and depth to an established leader in the development of automation equipment. Based from modern Milton Keynes offices, each project's variety and technical challenge is unique, offering an interesting and evolving way to apply your existing knowledge.
The focus for this job will be towards product design proposals as well as working closely with Manufacturing functions to ensure designs align with corporate best practices.
The culture is collaborative and friendly, with ample opportunity to liaise with the engineering team, sales, and other departments, with customer interaction.
The successful Junior Mechanical Design Engineer will have experience with:
Degree, HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Experience with 3D Modelling, ideally using SolidWorks Understanding of circuit diagrams Ability to work with a team on a range of projects Strong verbal and written communication skills Design experience of jigs, fixtures, and tooling would be advantageous
