Newry, Northern Ireland (Travel to sites) I’m currently working with an Electrical & Mechanical Private Engineering company who has been established over 40 years, based in Newry, Northern Ireland. My client specialises around generation integration, electrical and mechanical installation fields throughout the UK and Europe, offering bespoke services including: Plant Movement Complete electrical installation from design concept to completion Full Mechanical Installation from design concept to completion Manufacturing and installation of pipe work and tanks Commissioning and maintenance Sectors include: Data Centres Hospitals Hotels Large Commercial and Industrial Developments Water and Sewage Treatment Plants Waste to Energy Plants The company currently has 70 employees, but due to internal growth, they are seeking a junior mechanical engineer. Responsibilities include: Assessing project requirements Measuring the performance of mechanical components, devices, and engines Agreeing budgets, timescales and specifications with clients and managers Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable, and efficient Using computer-aided design/modelling software Liaising with suppliers Undertaking relevant research Producing and implementing designs and test procedures Presenting designs to managers and clients Testing, evaluating, modifying, and re-testing products Writing reports and documentation Providing technical advice Analysing and interpreting data If you are interested in either a Junior or Senior Mechanical Engineering position, please send your CV to
