Junior Mechanical Project Engineer required for our client who is a leading Air Conditioning & Mechanical company providing design, installations, service, and maintenance solutions. Due to the continued success and growth of the business, they are looking to recruit a Junior Mechanical Project Engineer to join their existing team at their head office in Thatcham. The Junior Mechanical Project Engineer will be based in or around the Essex area for an easy commute to the office in Billericay. The role involves working alongside experienced Project/Contract Managers to help manage Air Conditioning & Mechanical projects starting from £5K. The position requires travel to and from commercial sites in Essex & London, including Schools, Colleges, Universities, and Public Sector Buildings. The ideal candidate should hold a full UK driving license and come from a background in the Air Conditioning or Mechanical industry with a few years of experience. The client is willing to train and progress the successful candidate. This role is also suitable for graduates. Position Overview
Predominantly working from the office in Billericay but also traveling across London and Essex visiting sites as required. Working mainly on commercial projects within Schools, Colleges, Universities, and Public Sector Buildings. Collaborating with experienced Project Managers on Air Conditioning projects. Position Requirements
Full UK driving license. Willingness to learn and progress. Understanding of HVAC & Mechanical systems. Hold an NVQ or Degree. Must be well-organized with good IT skills. Live within a commutable distance of the office in Billericay. Position Remuneration
Availability to work from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. Competitive salary range of £30,000 to £40,000 per annum. 21 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. Gym membership benefit. Travel reimbursement for site visits.
