Key Responsibilities:

You’ll actively trade on the UK power market, making buy and sell decisions to generate P&L.

Analyse the UK power market and operation of the national grid balancing actions in real time.

Help implement and test expert advisory and automatic trading software.

Keep updated on industry best-practice and developments, as well as regulations and emerging trends in the power market.

Requirements:

Degree qualified, ideally in a STEM subject.

Be genuinely passionate about starting your career in the trading industry.

Have great decision making capabilities.

Have some exposure to or knowledge of the UK Power Market.

Be comfortable with using Excel or programming languages to interpret large data-sets.

Have excellent analytical and quantitative skills with keen attention to detail.

Be extremely organised, being able to work in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines.
