Job purpose Working as a Junior PR executive in our Digital, PR and Media team, you will support our PR managers across a variety of life science clients with tasks including, planning, creation and delivery of client PR campaigns. You will have a natural talent for communications and enjoy the thrill of working in a fast-paced global agency. You’ll be passionate, energetic and constantly curious with a proactive approach to your work, supporting our PR team to develop how we do things through using your initiative and can-do attitude. The Junior PR executive will support the growth of our award-winning PR & digital teams - ranked in the top 3 of Prolific North’s Top 50 PR agencies. What does a trainee PR executive at ramarketing do?

As you join the team at Ramarketing you can expect to follow our tried and tested induction process, where we will work together to help you learn about our sector, the clients we support and the methods we use to help them grow. You will be supported and mentored by our award-winning team as you develop into your new role. This will include developing your understanding of how to craft compelling media pitches and press releases; as we support your journey with ramarketing. Media management Supporting coordination and delivery of PR activities, working with colleagues to meet deadlines.

Playing a key role in the researching, collating and maintenance of media lists, sourcing editorial calendars and feature tracking and pitching.

Supporting the media buy team by sourcing relevant sponsored opportunities for clients.

Reporting Managing press release distribution across all clients

Creating Share of Voice reports using our media database software

Tracking and collating media coverage for our clients

Producing coverage reports for clients

PR team support Building relationships with relevant media in our clients’ sectors and helping to identify and secure opportunities to raise brand profiles.

Supporting PR managers to manage the creation of content to support PR and marketing campaigns

Supporting PR managers in the creation of press releases and short form commentaries

Monitoring the media and keeping up to date with industry trends to proactively identify opportunities for clients.

PR/marketing expertise

An understanding of the role PR plays in integrated marketing communications

A basic knowledge of other marketing channels e.g. digital marketing, content marketing

An interest in media relations and content creation

Experience PR agency experience is desirable but not essential

A PR degree or relevant work experience would also be considered

An interest in the life sciences sector would be a bonus

Personal Excellent communication skills

Strong organisational skills

Self-motivated, always looking to improve and help the agency grow.
