We are currently recruiting for a Junior Process Engineer for a Chemical Manufacturing Plant in Teesside, details below.
DELIVERABLES
Provision of expertise to ensure that all project P&IDs and PFDs are up-to-date and accurately reflect the final design, verifying that equipment specifications are correct and that HAZOP study recommendations have been implemented. Support commissioning and start-up of new plant, including system walkdowns, monitoring developments and troubleshooting. Provision of technical expertise to ensure that process plant production is optimised to provide maximum output and efficient performance together with full EHSS compliance. Preparation and reviewing of process documentation, including but not limited to P&IDs, commissioning procedures, process system checklists and operating instructions. Continuously evaluate equipment and processes ensuring that potential issues relating to safety, the environment, the process and the product are considered at all stages.
COMPETENCY
BEng in Process Engineering 3 Years of process engineering experience in Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil and Gas industry, preferably on high hazard sites. High degree of expertise in engineering principles and practices as applied to the client's engineering systems and knowledge of heavy petrochemical sector.
TASKS
Attendance of Project Commissioning and Safety Meetings. Identify and rectify incomplete or non-conforming punch list items. Ensure all project equipment and systems are installed correctly and meet design specifications. Ensure efficient system handover to the operations team and that all warranty-related support and services are available to address defects or performance issues. Provision of ongoing technical support to address any issues arising during initial operations. Ensure that management of change documentation is within corporate and legislative procedures, to guarantee that the necessary consistency and quality of the documentation is maintained.
