Duties: Work on a wide range of projects from concept through to completion. Liaise with key stakeholders across the business, sales, projects, clients during all stages of project to ensure all contractual requirements are satisfied. Creating engineering drawings for military and commercial cable assemblies based on customer requirements using Microsoft Visio on specialised software. Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure that production runs smoothly and is delivered on time and in full. Support the production operatives during the manufacturing process with any queries and problems encountered in the build process. Production of engineering route cards including complete assembly instructions. Utilising the MRP System, Factory Master, to generate bills of materials for production. Carries out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.

Requirements: Engineering experience, with the ability to read engineering drawings. Design knowledge and experience using drawing software such as Microsoft Visio and HarnWare/HarnVis. Commercial awareness, with knowledge of key suppliers of wire, cable, and interconnect components. Ability to analyse, find and present solutions to improve efficiency. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn production processes. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with customers, operations, and suppliers. Knowledge of IPC620 standards.
