This role is office-based, out of West London, with occasional site visits. Hybrid working can be considered; however, there would be a minimum requirement of 3 days in the office. Start: ASAP Contract Duration: 3 Months + Rate: £300-400p/day OUTSIDE IR35 Please note that the rate is dependent on relevant skills/experience. Candidates need to have either a Mechanical or Electrical (or both) background. Job Outline

Assist the Project Manager in leading site teams and subcontractors to ensure the highest safety standards are consistently maintained. Supervise mechanical and electrical installations, managing both direct labour and subcontractors. Contribute to project planning, progress reviews, cost management, change control, handover, and acceptance procedures, ensuring alignment with contract requirements. Participate in progress meetings with the client and internal project management teams. Oversee material procurement and identify subcontractor needs within project budgets. Collaborate on client timelines, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Attend site visits with the client as necessary. Ensure compliance with company procedures, engineering standards, functional specifications, management controls, and all SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) protocols. Candidate Requirements

Approx. 5 years' experience within the water industry, working within a similar role (Junior PM/Project Engineer). SSSTS or SMSTS certification. Mechanical or Electrical background with relevant qualifications. Relevant CSCS card. Thames Water Passport (desired but not essential). Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; communication skills, both written and oral. Well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively. Ability to use a wide range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office.
