Role Overview: As a junior Quality Engineer or Apprentice, you will work closely with the quality control team to ensure that all fabricated products meet their high standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Support the quality control team in inspecting and testing materials, products, and processes. Assist with identifying and documenting non-conformities and corrective actions. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure that all products meet required specifications and standards. Learn and assist in the implementation of quality assurance practices and procedures. What we are looking for: A keen interest in engineering. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Basic knowledge of fabrication processes and engineering principles (desirable not essential). Eagerness to learn and develop your skills in quality engineering. A positive attitude and a proactive approach to tasks. Qualifications: A background in engineering or a related field (e.g., BTEC, NVQ, or equivalent). For apprenticeships: no prior experience necessary, but a genuine interest in quality control is important. A willingness to undertake training and development opportunities.
