Amazing opportunity on offer for an aspiring Quantity Surveyor to join a residential housebuilder company who are experts in new build residential homes, with the opportunity to join a growing company with great progression opportunities.

This company has built a reputation on high-quality developments in and around Cumbria and has a passion for training their employees and watching them progress their career. This dynamic company is forward-thinking and has a strong land bank which will see them build 1500 homes over the next 5 years and therefore are looking for a junior or graduate Quantity Surveyor to play a key part in their next exciting phase of growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Trainee or Graduate Quantity Surveyor to get hands-on experience whilst gaining external qualifications working for a company that is passionate about training and developing staff.

Joining the commercial department, you will work on multiple residential projects. Based on your current competency levels, you will be enrolled in external training whilst getting stuck into the position. You will work under a senior overseeing the cost control of residential developments from concept through to completion.

The role: Trainee / Graduate Quantity Surveyor Full hands-on training with mentorship from a Senior Working on residential developments from concept through to completion Overseeing the cost control of projects gaining hands-on experience with more responsibility and progression as you learn the ropes. The person: Aspiring Quantity Surveyor Analytical and critical thinker Motivated with a desire to progress through the ranks Good idea of Quantity Surveying and Construction Excellent written and verbal communication skills
