Padarn Ward is a 19 bedded ward specialising in respiratory medicine. Padarn Ward is the respiratory pathway for Hywel Dda University Health Board and supports patients suffering from acute and chronic respiratory conditions. We provide interventions such as non-invasive ventilation (NIV), high flow oxygen therapy as well as other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
The successful applicant would be required to work towards gaining competencies in NIV and high flow oxygen therapy as well as pleural competencies.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff whilst delivering a high standard of care for our patients. You will be expected to work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team, including the Senior Nursing and Management team to help shape future service developments.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post. English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
