You will deliver patient care on a daily basis. As Nurse in Charge, you will have overall responsibility for day-to-day management of your clinical area and ensure that all care is delivered according to Trust policies and procedures. You will manage, lead, and support a team of paediatric nurses in the delivery of evidence-based, family-centred care that is of a high standard. Utilising clinical audit, research, and supervision, you will monitor and improve standards of care by the efficient use of resources and liaising with the senior sister. About Us

Qualifications
Registered Paediatric Nurse Part 8 or 15 Demonstrates professional updating of knowledge in the past one/two years European Paediatric Life Support Course (EPLS) or similar Knowledge and Experience
Experience at Band 5 or above within a general paediatric setting Current employment in an acute NHS setting Evidence of post-qualifying and continuing professional development Can demonstrate up-to-date clinical credibility/competence Evidence of advanced skills in practice i.e. IV additives, blood gases, and central lines Knowledge and understanding of current issues in the acute NHS setting Knowledge of clinical governance issues such as complaints handling and clinical risk management Disclosure and Barring Service Check
