An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to develop managerial skills within the Trevor Howell Day Unit. The successful applicants will join a highly skilled specialist team that offer treatments including SACT and supportive therapies to patients with solid tumours as well as malignant haematological conditions. The candidate will have ideally completed a recognised SACT course, have experience in administering SACT and have venepuncture/cannulation skills. Management experience is desirable but not necessary as training and support will be provided. The post holder will be expected to provide and maintain high standards of care to our patients, meeting trust values, be able to work autonomously as well as part of a cohesive team, and demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to this group of patients. You will need to be able to work well under pressure and cope with conflicting demands. If you are looking to develop your managerial and leadership skills, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. About us
St George's, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group cares for a population of four million people in South West London and North East Surrey. Our sites include St George's Hospital, one of 11 major trauma centres in the UK and the largest healthcare provider and major teaching hospital in the area; St Helier Hospital, home to the South West Thames Renal and Transplantation Unit; and Queen Mary's Hospital for Children and Epsom Hospital, home to the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC). After years of collaboration, our two Trusts became a hospitals group in 2021.
