We have an opportunity to join our Oncology/Haematology West Bergholt Ward at Colchester Hospital as a Junior Sister / Junior Charge Nurse. West Bergholt has 28 beds in bays and side rooms. You will be designated to take charge of the Ward regularly in the absence of the Ward Sister. You will provide inspirational leadership to the department, be positively welcoming, effective and act as a credible role model to the team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Support Workers. You should be caring, compassionate, forward thinking, well-organised and have a positive attitude towards flexibility and change. You will have well-developed communication and change management skills and share in our vision and commitment to continuously develop and improve. If you think you have the passion to ensure the continued development of the cancer services the trust provides we want to hear from you. About us

Along with supporting you to achieve your career goals we offer a generous pension scheme, unsocial hours payments (where applicable), 27 days annual leave on commencement (pro rata) and access to a range of NHS discounts. Our Staff Health and Wellbeing programme offers a variety of services. Our philosophy is that Time Matters to everyone. Across the Trust, we concentrate on improving the things we do and removing those which cause time delays for our staff and patients.
