Junior Software Developer

As a Junior Software Developer, you will work as part of a cross-functional team completing design and development deliverables aligned to our technology strategy and using DevOps practices and techniques. You will need to have some basic knowledge in developing and either a degree OR Bootcamp qualification. Tasks will include projects and any changes across the Premex Group platforms.
Duties include:
Contributing to the definition of the coding standards in collaboration with the team Developing and amending code as documented in the design and ensuring it meets the specification, follows standards, is performant and is maintainable Ensuring that software solutions are delivered on time, and to high standards of quality Ensure that developed solutions meet the IT security constraints and guidelines Contributing to code reviews both as reviewer and reviewee Learning and Development:
Proactively seeking help from the team to ensure that software solutions are developed correctly Maintaining awareness and seeking an understanding of development techniques adopted within the team such as architecture and design standards, continuous integration etc. to allow you to be able to develop solutions in line You should be:
Experienced in application development within small to medium teams developing business systems. Aware of Microsoft .Net technologies, Microsoft SQL Server and supporting technologies Possessing good Stakeholder Management skills A professional role model to team members An organised person with excellent time management skills.
