JMC Aviation are working with an FBO company based in Stansted, looking to recruit a new Junior Stores Person to join their team. This client is well known for outstanding levels of service in their FBO facility. As a family run business with multiple decades of experience, they strive for excellence throughout their skilled workforce as they deal with in-house engineering and support services on business jets. This is a 3 month fixed term contract based in Stansted, starting January 2025, working 08:00 - 16:30 Monday - Friday.

The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to assist with the day to day running of a busy Stores department to provide a proactive and efficient service while reporting to the Material Manager. Other Duties Involve:

Assist with the day to day running of the Stores department. Issuing tooling, consumable and rotable aircraft parts to engineers. Ensuring correct material handling and storage conditions are maintained in line with regulation standards. Performing inventory control, paying particular attention to shelf-life items and tooling due for calibration. Creating documentation and maintaining logs and archive. The control and disposal of waste products in line with company and environmental regulations. Driving of company vehicles. Skills and Experience Required

In order to be successful in this role the Junior Stores Person will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Computer literate Excellent communication skills Full clean UK Driving License Current counterbalance license is desirable Demonstrable experience in a stores/warehouse environment is desirable Right to live and work in the UK If you think this is the role for you and you have the necessary skills and attributes, please apply today or contact JMC Aviation for more details.
