They’re a young business, with a young senior management team, and a real passion for their product. About the role:
Not your run-of-the-mill accounting opportunity, the successful candidate will play a key part in offering remote assistance to implement the company’s accounting software to their clients throughout the UK. This will entail a thorough understanding of the software and the integration of any pre-existing APIs, as well as importing existing accounting information. You’ll work with and report to the senior implementations team. This role will lend itself to a systems enthusiast who can also “see beyond the numbers.” This person will also possess excellent interpersonal skills and be a logical and methodical thinker. This role is permanently based remotely/from home. However, suitable candidates must be based within 30 miles of the company HQ in Exeter to enable ongoing product training and to ensure that you have a close working relationship with your colleagues. The company will provide all of the necessary IT and telephony equipment, broadband, and even home office furniture to ensure that the role can be completed in comfort and with all tools at your disposal. What we’re looking for:
An enthusiastic individual with at least 6 months of recent experience working at accounts assistant level in any sector. You should have a solid understanding of the main accounting principles and an understanding of the finance lifecycle. The company provides bespoke, sector-specific software and whilst previous experience won’t be required, some experience of working with modern accounting systems and an aptitude for picking up new applications will be essential.
