Hamblion Transport have a vacancy for a Junior Transport Planner via an apprenticeship to join our busy team!
We are looking for someone that would like to start within the transport industry and pursue a good career.
We operate 40 HGV vehicles of all sizes and distribute across the mainland UK.
The position would include all areas of running a fleet of vehicles and training would be given on tachograph laws, vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and legal compliance.
Main Duties include:
Dealing with all aspects of transport including booking deliveries and routing vehicles Inputting job details and bookings Liaising with customers and drivers on a daily basis Supporting the Logistics manager and transport team Requirements
Some knowledge of transport industry and regulations would be beneficial but not a necessity Flexible approach and team spirit essential PC Literate and good telephone manner Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail Seniority level
