is in the market for an experienced Kafka SME. You must be regarded as a Kafka expert. The role is likely to extend, Inside IR35. Skills and Requirements:

Design, deploy, and manage Apache Kafka clusters in a data centre and Azure environment. Manage topics and access control lists (ACLs). Monitor and balance the cluster to optimize resource utilization. Diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues within the Kafka clusters. Oversee system upgrades and patching to maintain platform stability and security. Onboard new applications to seamlessly integrate with the Kafka messaging system. Manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters. Use Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management. Able to automate the operation of Azure Infrastructure. Operating Systems (Windows / Linux): using desired state configuration management tooling. CI/CD pipelines: can create a CI/CD pipeline to deploy Infrastructure changes. Communicate effectively with Azure support to resolve any technical issues that may arise. Experience with Azure services. Experience of managing Kafka cluster in production environment, including additional tasks like user/authentication management, cluster balancing, and system upgrades. Can troubleshoot failures, determine root causes, and make any escalations as appropriate. Please reach out to find further information.
