The Role Joining a growing commercial team, this new role will have the opportunity to engage with our strategic partners and build on the mutually beneficial relationships. Working closely with the commercial team to identify growth potential for both new and existing partners. Whilst utilising the technical expertise within the company, the role would benefit from technical knowledge and would support the business with industry events and member presentations. A remote role, with global travel, but the role may benefit by being based in the North of England.
Core Responsibilities
· Manage, develop and nurture long-term relationships with key clients · Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing concerns and inquiries promptly · Develop and implement strategic account plans · Identify growth opportunities for key members and formulate strategies to capitalise on them · Understand current members' needs, challenges, and strategic plans in order to provide the most appropriate membership level · Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
Person Specification
We are looking for: · MSc in a relevant subject, specifically scientific or engineering, or equivalent · Experience in Glass or other Heavy Industries would be highly beneficial · Experience of Technical Sales · Ability to work independently and manage own diary · Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude · Strong presentation skills
