The “farmer” in the team, once the business is won you will be responsible for cultivating the long-term customer relationships, manage the onboarding and facilitating the development and growth of key customer relationships. As a Key Account Manager, you’ll need to: Work closely with the Sales Director to ensure the operational and financial objectives of the business are met. Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them. Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business. Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational efficiency. Serve as the main point of contact for your assigned accounts. Get to know your assigned accounts to understand their opportunities and challenges. Identify how our company can support the customer’s opportunities and challenges. Monitor the satisfaction level of your customer accounts and report progress to internal stakeholders. Upsell and cross sell maximizing on all incremental business opportunities Create, develop, manage and deliver an effective sale process and sales pipeline.

Ensure that all activity is captured and tracked in the CRM Work closely with the business development team to onboard new business seamlessly. Liaise with the other departments, finance, operations, quality etc as appropriate. Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management/the board of directors. Contribute toward the business sales and marketing strategy. Seek ways of improving the way the business operates. You’ll usually work a regular 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday week, though you may on occasion have to work longer to meet a project deadline or when attending an event or conference. Our offer
