Key Stage 2 Cover Supervisor

NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a Primary school in Bradford who are looking for a Key Stage 2 Cover Supervisor to start as soon as possible on a part time basis, with the potential to go to full time.

Primary Cover Supervisor roles and Responsibilities:

  • Implement engaging and effective lessons for the children that are aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Confidently follow lesson planning and deliver lessons to classes across KS2.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing behaviour, promoting respect, ensuring the safety of all students and differentiating the deliverance of the learning.
  • Evaluate pupil progress through various assessments and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey, both to the pupil, other staff and have good clear and concise communication with parents/guardians.

Primary Cover Supervisor Non-Negotiables:

  • Must have recent and relevant teaching or teaching assistant experience in Education in the UK.
  • Experience working with children in an Educational setting.
  • Must hold a Level 4+ Qualification, or equivalent, valid for supporting children's learning in the UK.
  • Strong subject knowledge of the UK Primary National Curriculum.
  • Must have a valid DBS or be prepared to apply for a new and updated one.
