Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant

AdvertWe are looking to appoint a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to our KS2 team. We are seeking someone who has a positive mindset and is keen to make a real difference to the education and life-chances of children.The successful candidate will be a member of an experienced and talented support staff team and will benefit from being part of our friendly and caring school where we are committed to ensuring that all staff and children are able to flourish.Successful candidate will: have some experience working in a school setting or an equivalent role related qualification (i.e. NVQ)have GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in Maths and Englishhave initiative and be able to work on their own and part of a teambe willing to facilitate outdoor play activities during breaks and lunchtimes (OPAL)be willing to uphold the school’s Christian ethos (although being a practicing Christian is not required)have good written and oral communication skillsexperience or knowledge of working with children with additional needs would be an advantage This is a permanent term-time only contract for 22.5 hours a week. The hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 1.00pm.
