With our significant investment in technology and infrastructure, we strive to maximize the value of the energy we produce for the world along with a commitment to enhance Aramco's value to society.

Headquartered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and with offices around the world, we combine market discipline with a generations' spanning view of the future, born of our nine decades experience as responsible stewards of the Kingdom's vast hydrocarbon resources. This responsibility has driven us to deliver significant societal and economic benefits to not just the Kingdom, but also to a vast number of communities, economies, and countries that rely on the vital and reliable energy that we supply.

We are one of the most profitable companies in the world, as well as amongst the top five global companies by market capitalization.

Overview

We are seeking a forward-thinking Energy Analyst with expertise in New Energies, including Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), renewable, and hydrogen technologies, to join the Domestic Analysis Department within the Strategy & Market Analysis organization.

The Domestic Analysis department focuses on supporting the domestic oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors in Saudi Arabia. The department is responsible for conducting in-depth energy market analyses, modeling scenarios, and identifying opportunities that align with our company's energy transition strategy.

The Energy Analyst will play a pivotal role in analyzing and advancing energy transition that will contribute to shaping the future of Aramco's sustainable energy and industry decarbonization efforts, with a particular focus on the regional and Saudi context, aligning with the Kingdom's goals for energy transition and sustainability leadership.

Key Responsibilities

As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

Technology Analysis: Evaluate emerging CCUS, renewable, and hydrogen technologies, identifying trends, opportunities, and barriers to adoption within Saudi Arabia and the regional context. Energy Transition Insights: Provide in-depth analysis of the role of CCUS and hydrogen in the global and regional energy transition, including market dynamics, regulatory policies, and alignment with Saudi Arabia's sustainability goals. Strategic Advisory: Develop actionable strategies to help clients and stakeholders integrate CCUS, renewable, and hydrogen solutions into their energy portfolios, considering regional market conditions and priorities. Market Intelligence: Monitor regional and global developments in CCUS and hydrogen, including investments, infrastructure developments, and policy frameworks. Prepare forecasts and scenarios tailored to Saudi Arabia's energy transition landscape. Sustainability Integration: Assess the environmental and economic impact of CCUS, renewable, and hydrogen projects in the Saudi and regional context, providing recommendations to optimize resource use and achieve decarbonization targets. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with industry experts, engineers, policymakers, and clients to deliver insights and ensure alignment with strategic goals within Saudi Arabia and the region. Mentor junior analysts to build expertise in the field of sustainable energy, focusing on the regional energy ecosystem.

Minimum Requirements

As a successful candidate you will have: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or Engineering. A master degree in Energy Economics, Finance, or a related field is a plus. Minimum 12 years of experience in energy analysis, with a focus on CCUS, renewable & hydrogen, or other emerging energy technologies, including regional expertise in Saudi Arabia or the GCC. Strong understanding of the technical and economic aspects of CCUS, renewable, and hydrogen value chains in regional and global markets. Proven ability to conduct market and technology assessments, delivering actionable insights with relevance to Saudi energy policies and frameworks. Familiarity with regional energy transition framework, global policies, and sustainability standards.

At Aramco, our people work on truly world-scale projects, supported by investment in capital and technology that is second to none.
