Role: Electrician Location: Site Based (Various) – Scotland East Coast Hours: Full-time, 37.5hrs per week, flexible hours + overtimeSalary Range: Based on SJIB ratesAbout the roleFollowing sustained business growth, exciting opportunities have become available for additional Industrial Electricians to join our team. Our customers are manufacturing production sites and as we work in the whisky industry, our solutions will often be installed on high tier COMAH sites and within hazardous areas (ATEX) due to alcohol vapour.Our Electricians are responsible for site based electrical works including Power Distribution Network Installation and associated Cabling, Containment, Control Panel Installation and more.There is opportunity to work on a variety of customer manufacturing sites, within a project team. There is a support network as well as broad training available to allow you to achieve your professional development goals, while putting learning into practice.Main ResponsibilitiesInstallation, glanding and termination of various cable types eg Power, Instrument, Communications,Installation of various forms of cable containment systems eg Tray, Ladder, Box Trunking, Basket.Installation inspection and test.Panel Assembly (new build and on-site modification).Panel TestingLiaising with the Project Manager at all stages of the project lifecycle.The PersonWhat we need from you:Be a dynamic and proactive team player who strives to deliver high-quality work at the highest level of customer service.Minimum 1 year experience as an electrician,ECS (Trade) Card18th Edition Wiring RegulationsStrong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skillsYou must be eligible to work in the UK and have a full UK driving licence.Benefits PackageWhat we offer in return:Salary based on SJIB rates with opportunities for overtime (various uplifts depending on experience)Holidays – 27 days per year, plus 6 statutory days, rising to 29 days with service,Health Shield – Employee Assistance Scheme,Share Save Scheme,EV Car Purchase Scheme,Company Pension Scheme,Pourquoi nous rejoindre ?Who Are Kigtek?Kigtek are an Engineering Projects company who predominantly deliver multi-discipline solutions into the Whisky/Spirits Industry in Scotland.
