Kitchen Assistant

Linen Mill Studios is the home of the Game of Thrones Studio Tour - a world class visitor attraction that immerses guests in the fantasy and intrigue surrounding one of the most popular TV series of all time. We are seeking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant to carry out various duties in the kitchen and help with the delivery of exceptional cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Food & Beverage service. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Wash and tidy away dishes, cutlery, utensils etc. Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment and work surfaces Dispose of waste correctly Assist with food preparation Help with the intake of deliveries and storage of goods received Assist with stock control and rotation Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen area Assisting the chefs with any tasks required ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Knowledge of health & safety Understanding of food hygiene Able to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent teamwork Great communication DESIRABLE Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment Health & Safety training certificate Full training will be provided. This is a part-time position working 27.5 hours per week over 5 variable days (typical shift 12:00 - 17:30). The role will require flexibility to work across Monday to Sunday, as well as occasional evenings, to support a business that operates 7 days a week.
