Kitchen Assistant
Head Chef focuses on supporting the head chef to ensure the catering services and residential dining experience is of the highest standard and quality.
What the role involves
- Supporting the Head Chef to ensure the catering services and residential dining experience is of the highest standard and quality.
- Assisting the Head Chef with meal service to the residents, ensuring the meals cater for the resident’s dietary requirements and the areas are clean and stocked appropriately.
- Ensure Health & Safety within the services team, residents and visitors meet the requirements of the Food Safety Manual and Health and Safety Manual.
Skills and requirements
- Experience of working within a kitchen environment, or have a catering background, ideally within a care environment but this is not essential.
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Hygiene is desirable.
- Computer literate, with the ability to use basic Microsoft Office applications.
- We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role, a valid right to work in the UK is required.
Confirmed role details
- 30 hours per week, worked over Monday to Friday and include every other weekend.
- Shift times will vary between 7am to 7:30pm.
- Baldock Drive, King's Lynn, England, PE30 3DQ.
