Kitchen Designer Wanted in South Somerset! KBB Recruitment are pleased to be working with a luxury independent family-run showroom near Tatworth to assist them in their search for a fantastic designer to join their amazing team. Position:

Full-time permanent position Monday to Friday 08.30am - 5pm and Saturday 10am - 5pm, paying £28,000 - £30,000 plus uncapped commission. Role:

Create bespoke kitchen designs to meet clients' expectations. Work alongside fitters and other trades to ensure a smooth, stress-free experience. Demonstrate high levels of customer service. Develop custom kitchen designs using industry-standard design software (e.g. Winner). Incorporate suitable kitchen appliances into designs, ensuring functionality and seamless integration. Present clients with tailored design proposals, complete with appliance recommendations and costs. Create kitchen leads through conversation with customers as well as following up on those provided by members of the Spillers sales team. Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality project delivery. Provide clients with regular updates on timelines, budgets, and progress. Stay up to date on the latest kitchen design trends, technologies, and appliance offerings. Attend training sessions to deepen product knowledge and maintain expertise in kitchen furniture and appliances. Ideal Candidate:

Will have knowledge of high-end kitchen appliance brands. Will have strong working knowledge of Winner design software or equivalent. Will have proven experience as a kitchen designer or interior designer with a track record of sales success. Will have experience of managing multiple projects and deadlines. Will have excellent communication and presentation skills - able to communicate effectively with all types of customers. Will be organised and efficient. Will have a solutions-driven mindset with the ability to think creatively and resolve problems effectively. Will be self-motivated, proactive, confident, and efficient. Will be able to work on their own as well as part of a team. Will have the ability to build relationships quickly.
