We are looking for a Kitchen Designer to join us to work with our driven and enthusiastic Chichester team. Our designers are kitchen specialists who use their in-depth product and technical knowledge to create exciting designs for kitchens, bedrooms, and all rooms in between.

Designing a kitchen is like throwing a party; you want to create the mood, get the ingredients right, and ensure there is a flow of people and room to prepare space to dine, drink, and dance. Our designers think about how it will be used and who will be using it. Whether it's the dream of a reluctant gourmet or a budding chef, or for a hungry family of four, we design to reflect these differing requirements.

Responsibilities Include: Arrange in-store consultations and home visits to find out all requirements. Create, present, and exchange thoughts on innovative design schemes. Inspire, excite, and support our customers from design concept to installation or delivery. Update and maintain accurate customer records using various software packages. Manage multiple projects ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout. Actively contribute to the growth and development of the store. Our stores are open 7 days a week, so it's important that you'll have the flexibility to work during the week and at weekends.

You'll ideally bring a design-related qualification and a passion for interiors, confidence with design software (AutoCAD preferred but training can be provided). You'll also have exceptional communication and organization skills, be highly proactive, have a detail-oriented mindset, and possess a flair for creativity. A full UK driving license and the ability to travel to customers' homes are also required.

Sharing its name with our first-ever collection, Neptune Chichester is set within a converted stable block, nestled among lakes and open countryside in the neighbourhood of the South Downs National Park and Chichester Harbour, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You'll find a lovely balance of heritage and country, inside the store and out, with striking pitched ceilings and beautifully landscaped gardens offering the perfect place to sit back, relax, and take in your surroundings.

What Benefits We Can Offer You: Competitive salary. Generous holiday allowance. Life assurance. Company sick pay. Enhanced maternity and paternity leave. Generous Neptune new item and outlet discounts. Perkbox: Wellbeing Hub and Retail Discounts Portal. Your birthday day off. Two paid volunteer days a year. Day off if you become a grandparent. A week off to celebrate a life event. Refer a friend scheme. Long service holiday allowance increase. Training workshops. Our Values:

Across all locations, we stay united by our company values: Do The Right Thing, Do It Together, Aim High, and Keep It Real.

We're an equal opportunities employer; our mission is to welcome everyone and create inclusive teams, with all colleagues and applicants afforded the same opportunities. We encourage everyone to join us and be themselves at work, in an environment that actively promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion where everyone's voices are heard.

Our Story:

Founded in 1996 by friends John Sims-Hilditch and Giles Redman, Neptune designs and makes pieces for your whole home. Recognized for our exacting standards, design-led aesthetic, and expert craftsmanship, we're perhaps most known for kitchens - with heirloom-worthy dressers not far behind. Neptune's trademark 'look' is British: refined, simple, sturdy, and with an almost obsessive attention to detail. We're also respected for our commitment to craft and quality. Put simply, we make things we're proud of, and that are designed to last a lifetime.
