Role Responsibility Cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinksCleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next dayMaintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigeratorsReceiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchenWashing dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or loading dishes into the dishwasherRemoving kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properlyCleaning and maintaining cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers.Supporting the Chef in basic food preparation like cutting ingredients, peeling, and washing food itemsProviding assistance to Prep Cooks and other kitchen staff, as needed.   The Ideal Candidate Previous experience working in a kitchenAble to provide 5 year employment referencingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA flexible “can do” attitudeThe ability to multi-task within a fast paced environment Package Description 35 hours per week£ per hourCausal role - with opportunity to lead to contact position, on completion of probation and obtaining a full airside security pass. Shift pattern for contracted role 4 days on 2 days off Many employee benefits, rewards and recognition.
