Kitchen/Catering Manager

to lead our kitchen operations and help us deliver exceptional dining experiences. As Kitchen/Catering Manager, you’ll be a true leader of the kitchen, inspiring your team to craft unforgettable dining experiences for every guest. Key Responsibilities: Team Management:

Oversee the kitchen team to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard. Food Operations:

Organise stock and rotation, monitor food preparation, cooking, and delivery to table (dine-in), takeaways, catering services. Rotas & Scheduling:

Manage staff rotas, including holiday and absence planning using Fourth Rota. Training & Development:

Conduct staff training, maintain training records, and onboard new team members. Recipe Management:

Update and modify recipes as needed, ensuring quality and consistency. Catering:

Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans. Assist with bartending duties as needed during events, ensuring responsible alcohol service. Administrative Duties:

Maintain kitchen admin sheets (temperatures, testers, cleaning schedules, etc.) and help set up systems for better efficiency. Support the team throughout the day as required. Compliance & Maintenance:

Liaise with local and other authorities/companies/organisations to ensure compliance, track equipment servicing, and assist with kitchen maintenance and costings. Supplier Coordination:

Organise supplier visits and manage crockery orders and stock counts with FOH. Manage ingredient stock and communicate kitchen requirements with the suppliers. Social Media & Community:

Assist in creating content for the kitchen’s social media page, and organise team events like birthdays, celebrations, and farewell gifts. Food Safety:

Work with senior chefs on allergens, food lab testing, and maintaining records and standards. Kitchen and Store Management:

Ensure a clean as you go policy is always in operation, labelling, daily records, etc. Requirements: A degree is an advantage, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Proven experience as a Kitchen/Catering Manager. Highly organised individual – Knowledge of kitchen administration, Indian food recipes. Languages known: English, Hindi, and other regional languages will be good. Have a minimum of one year of kitchen and catering experience. Have experience managing teams in a similar role. Health and safety, food safety certificates. A full UK Driving license will be preferred. Job Type:
